He described how several of his former teammates visited him after the signing including Adam Henrique, Evan Bouchard and Ryan McLeod while vacationing in the Muskoka.
The 28-year-old who was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014, signed a three-year deal worth $10.5 million with the Kings on July 1st. He currently holds a cap hit of 3.5 million per season and the Kings have high hopes that his offensive output will help their team. Through four games of the regular season, he has no points and only two penalty minutes.
The Oilers did not sit and wait where they added Jeff Skinner and Viktor Arvidsson to their ranks to help replace any loss of offence with Ryan McLeod and Foegele being removed from the lineup.
After breaking out of their slump with the 4-3 win in overtime against the Philadelphia Flyers the Oilers will go on the road and play against the Nashville Predators which will take place on October 17th at 8:00 PM eastern.
Foegele will have to wait to face off against his former teammates till the end of December when the Oilers head out to Los Angeles on December 28.
