3 Calgary Flames Players Make a Huge Push For New Pride Uniforms
The NHL has been working to make hockey an inclusive sport and the Calgary Flames are the next team in Alberta to make that step again, this year.
The Flames are going to warm up in the new Pride Night Jerseys for 2023.
3 Calgary Flames players have stepped up to the plate to volunteer to model these intricately designed uniforms, designed by local Megan Parker.
The three players who offered up their backs to model these were Rasmus Andersson, Dillon Dube, and MacKenzie Weegar.
With these players taking the initiative to not only give Megan Park the eyes on a national stage and welcome LGBT+ fans, this is a big change from the recent scandals that mired multiple teams' reputations.
