44-Year Old Hockey Star Suddenly Passes Away
The hockey community mourns the loss of Dmitri Tarasov, who passed away at 44 years old.
The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed. Tarasov had an impressive career, spending 17 seasons in the Russian Super League and KHL, primarily with Amur Khabarovsk.
"Yesterday in Khabarovsk, a pupil of the Khabarovsk 'Amur', the club's leader in the national championships in terms of the number of matches played and the champion of Russia in the 'Salavat Yulaev' Dmitry Tarasov, suddenly died.
The team of the hockey club "Amur" and Khabarovsk fans express their sincere deepest condolences to Dmitry's family and friends.

He served as team captain for five seasons and tallied 225 points in 644 regular season games. In 2008, Tarasov also secured a Russian Super League championship. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Tarasov's family and friends during this difficult time.
