BREAKING - Canadian Teams' Playoff Hopes Down The Drain Due to Bad Injury news
According to a tweet from Frank Seravalli, the Ottawa Senators have been hit with more injuries. Head coach DJ Smith announced that forward Ridly Greig will be out for the remainder of the season due to a sternum injury, and defenseman Jakob Chychrun will be out for a few weeks with a lower-body injury.
"OTT head coach DJ Smith said this morning that Jakob Chychrun out a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury; Ridly Greig out for rest of season with a sternum injury." - Frank Seravalli
The Senators are already struggling this season, currently sitting in fifth place in the Atlantic Division. These injuries may make it even more challenging for them to finish the season strong, or make the playoffs as a whole.
