BREAKING - Controversial Calgary Flames' Number Will be Retired
The Calgary Flames have announced that they will be retiring Miikka Kiprusoff's jersey number, #34, on March 2nd, 2024.
Kiprusoff, who is now 46 years old, had a remarkable career with the Flames from 2003 to 2013.
During his tenure, he achieved a record of 305 wins, 192 losses, and 68 ties. Kiprusoff also received the prestigious Vezina Trophy and led the Flames to the Stanley Cup Final.
The retirement of his jersey is a fitting tribute to his contributions and legacy with the team.
