BREAKING: Did Bettman Just Reveal The Next Canadian City to get an NHL Team?
Despite how you may feel about the NHL, Commissioner Gary Bettman holds a great deal of power when he speaks, he recently addressed the media at the Montreal Canadiens game last night, and it was interesting..
This might actually be some positive news especially for hockey fans in Canada hoping for the return of the Quebec Nordiques.
According to Montreal Canadiens Renaud Lavoie, Bettman met with the media in regards to a meeting between Bettman and Montreal Canadiens Owner Geoff Molson.
"Gary Bettman just said that Geoff Molson always told him that he would be in favour of an expansion in Québec City if it happens one day."
This is good news as Bettman has always treated the Canadian markets with less attention then the one in the US, maybe he's actually listening to fans or maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it would be awesome to see Quebec back in the NHL one day.
