BREAKING: Ex-NHL Player Retires With Three Years Remaining on His Deal
Sven Baertschi, aged 30, has announced his retirement from professional hockey.
With 66 goals and 72 assists in 292 NHL games for various teams, including the Vegas Golden Knights, Baertschi was playing on a three-year contract with SC Bern until 2026. While leaving mid-contract is uncommon, Baertschi's decision is respected.
