Milan Lucic Reveals Why he refused to go to the Toronto Maple Leafs
Milan Lucic faced a tough decision in the free agency market, with both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Chicago Blackhawks pursuing him.
However, the veteran forward opted to sign with the Boston Bruins, the team where he made a name for himself earlier in his career.
Lucic explained that it would have been emotionally challenging to join the Maple Leafs, considering his history and connection with the Bruins' faithful. While the opportunity to play alongside phenom Bedard in Chicago was tempting, the allure of returning to Boston proved too strong to resist.
Bruins fans can now look forward to seeing Lucic back in the black and gold, where he left an indelible mark on the franchise.
