The previous three days have seen what seems to be more transactions in the NHL than ever, with most teams getting a head start on the trade deadline, which is set on March 3rd and is only five days away.

The Montreal Canadiens have traded Denis Gurianov, a fellowRussian friend to his trade partner, forward Evgenii Dadonov, who was acquired by the Dallas Stars. A portion of Dadonov's contract will also be kept by the Canadiens, 50%.

Mark Stone, the Golden Knights' captain was recently placed on the injury reserve list which free'd up a lot of cap space. Vegas is a franchise that will act fast, so expected more deals to be made shortly, other than the one below:

Ivan Barabshev of the St.Louis Blues has been traded to the Vegas Golden Knights for a 'prospect', details are not revealed but we believe it is a 1st-round caliber prospect.

Trade: Vegas has acquired Ivan Barbashev from the Blues for a prospect

Barbashev has a Stanley Cup under his belt and is the ideal heavyweight player for playoff hockey, throwing fourteen hits throughout his last two days.
