Boston Bruins Player Accused of Being a R*cist With Recent Evidence
Given the evidence that has surfaced over the last year concerning multiple Hockey Canada scandals, the Mitchell Miller incident involving the Boston Bruins, and countless more court records proving it, it is not shocking to realize that hockey has a serious culture problem.
Jakub Lauko, an NHL prospect who was selected by the Boston Bruins organization with the 77th overall pick in 2018, is a part in the most recent "scandal." This claim may be seen on his Twitter profile under his "favorited/liked" tweets. He has been accused of racism.
Here is just a small glimpse of what his liked tweets look like:
The 22-year-old prospect has only been in seven NHL games but already has a good AHL career. He hopes to one day make the Boston Bruins team.
With massive fan bases that reach in the hundreds of thousands, hockey is a very public sport. It's rather shameless of him to like these types of things because many athletes are well aware of how important their reputation is and how situations like this won't be disregarded.
