Most NHL players in 2023 choose not to weigh in or express their opinions on social media as it could lead them and their organizations into trouble.
That doesn't seem to apply to Bruins superstar winger Brad Marchand as he has become famous for his tweets on the platform Twitter.
Marchand has been tweeting out recently concerning the Troy Stetcher incident with Trevor Zegras and has now turned his attention to the Edmonton Oilers.
His comment seemed to insinuate that no player in the NHL would take a discount from the Oilers Whether it has to do with the city, the organization and how it's run or even the weather. One could speculate for hours on what he means by this.
One thing is clear though, Mr. Marchand does not hold back his thoughts and will no doubt create a firestorm of tweets in the coming days.
The 34-year-old left winger is having a great season once again after returning from injury and has played 48 games, scored seventeen goals with 32 assists for 49 points and holds 8 + 20 plus minus.
I'm sure he has more comments in store as the season wears on.
