Jesse Puljujarvi, the Finnish forward who was traded from the Edmonton Oilers to the Carolina Hurricanes this season, has yet to record a single point in his first nine games with the new team. Despite playing on the top line, Puljujarvi has struggled to find the back of the net and has a plus-minus rating of -3.

Many had hoped that a change of scenery would revitalize Puljujarvi's career, but these early struggles have raised questions about his individual play. It's clear that his lack of production cannot be attributed solely to his time in Edmonton, and that he will need to step up his game if he hopes to make an impact with the Hurricanes. In other news, its been rumoured that Puljujarvi will return home if his groove cannot be found, where he'd leave the NHL and play for his native home team in his home country.

However, it's important to remember that there is plenty of time for Puljujarvi to find his footing with his new team. As a young player with potential, he will need to work hard and continue to adapt to the Hurricanes' system in order to make a positive impact.
