Of all the great qualities Connor McDavid has as a hockey player, one of the best qualities is his ability to skate. Having watched him so many times it is just incredible how fast this man can go.
With the NHL All-Star weekend about to begin and the skills competition set to start, McDavid has asked the NHL not to be in the fastest skater competition anymore.
Having lost the competition to Jordan Kyrou last season and being crowned the winner three years in a row before that, I would think McDavid feels he would rather participate in other skills.
The skills competition itself is 1 part of the All-Star weekend that I enjoy watching. Seeing all these stars coming together and having a good weekend is nice to watch.
The NHL All-Star weekend will begin on Friday, February 3rd, and stretch through February 4th. It will take place in Sunrise FL.
