Ron Harrison, the former producer of Hockey Night In Canada and Cherry's close friend, passed away.
Sorry to hear the passing of Ron Harrison, director and Executive Producer of Hockey Night in Canada. Ron was one of the good guys in the tv industry. Godspeed Ron.
Cherry and Harrison worked together on the CBC program for decades, where Harrison is credited with securing Cherry's long leash with CBC executives.
