Video game staff will publish rankings of various NHL players and stars with the annual release of EA Sports NHL 24.

The NHL '24 rankings must place McDavid in the 99-100 range, according to Cybulski. This is the first time we've heard a game announcer call out their own game since Cybulski replaced Doc Emrick in the game 4 years ago.
McDavid has arguably been the best NHL player for the past six seasons, and the closest competitor in recent history was Sidney Crosby with a 95.
Last January, McDavid became the first player in over a decade to hit the 97 ranking.
