EA NHL '24 Does Connor McDavid dirty and rates him too low in the game

Video game staff will publish rankings of various NHL players and stars with the annual release of EA Sports NHL 24.

You'd think Connor McDavid, who could be considered the best in the game, would get the best ranking in this popular franchise. No, I'm afraid not.

«Over the years, there are a few players in Madden who have posted 100 ratings and several who have hit 99,» he wrote in reference to McDavid's 97 overall.

«McDavid needs to be higher than this,» Cybulski, who replaced Doc Emrick as the main voice of the game four years ago, added.

The Edmonton Oilers captain was a disservice, argues James Cybulski, who believes the franchise is currently underrating McDavid.

The NHL '24 rankings must place McDavid in the 99-100 range, according to Cybulski. This is the first time we've heard a game announcer call out their own game since Cybulski replaced Doc Emrick in the game 4 years ago.

McDavid has arguably been the best NHL player for the past six seasons, and the closest competitor in recent history was Sidney Crosby with a 95.

Last January, McDavid became the first player in over a decade to hit the 97 ranking.
