A few Edmonton Oilers players are injured, and Jay Woodcroft issued an important update to the media.
Both players were taken off the ice and have missed some of training camp already, according to Jason Gregor. Ryan McLeod was out on September 21st.

Injuries to McLeod were unspecified, but a week later, he is doing well according to his coach and team. In addition to Ekholm, Mattias Ekholm will also miss some of training camp because of a hip flexor injury, according to Jason Gregor of Oilersnation.com.
Both players are expected to attend a few pre-season games for the Edmonton Oilers.
Ekholm and McLeod are expected to play soon, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
