Edmonton Oilers Forward Demolishes Minnesota Wild's Face in Heavyweight Tilt
The matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and the Minnesota Wild took an unexpectedly rough turn tonight when Edmonton forward Derek Ryan found himself on the receiving end of not one but two hits.
The first hit, delivered by a Wild forward, was a blindsided blow that left Ryan rattled. Kane, recently added to the Oilers' 3rd line, found himself stepping up in defense of Ryan.
A flurry of punches was exchanged until Kane dropped the Wild player..
The game has certainly taken a more physical turn, and fans will be closely watching to see how the Oilers respond to this intense encounter as they battle the Minnesota Wild.
