Edmonton Oilers Goaltending Prospect Lays a Pounding in a Spirited Tilt
In some ways more than others the Edmonton Oilers have all the weapons ready for the Battle of Alberta, they just haven't arrived yet.
One of these tools is Ryan Fanti who is a goalie who went undrafted and is currently playing in the ECHL with the Fort Wayne Komets.
There's nothing more than a good tilt between goalies and Ryan Fantis showed he can throw with the best of them.
It didn't take much as 11 seconds in Fanti took the reins of the fight and proceeded to annihilate the Wheeling Nailers goalie Brad Barone, with some nice punches, including a nice uppercut!
Fanti was a part of the 2019 UMD National Championship team and would proceed to earn the starting job afterward.
Fanti was signed by the Edmonton Oilers in 2021-2022 and played a game with the Bakersfield Condors and has since been sent down to the ECHL and has been playing with the Fort Wayne Komets since.
Fanti won the game that night after taking on Barone, making 38 saves and giving the Komets are 6-4 win.
Our boy is ready for the Battle of Alberta.
