The Edmonton Oilers delivered a dominating 7-2 win to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Pittsburgh last night, and Penguins fans began cheering ''Fire Hextall'' (their general manager). The Oilers dominating win woke up the Penguins management so much that they have decided to place forward Kasperi Kapanen on waivers.

On another note, five pieces of Edmonton Oilers history was made last night in ONE GAME! It is truly insane:

First two:

-Leon Draisaitl
8th different player in Oilers history to record a goal streak of 6 or more games

-Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
9th player in Oilers history with 600 career points

-Connor McDavid recorded 4 points (2 G, 2 A), giving him a career-high 46 goals.

He is the first #LetsGoOilers player with 46+ goals through his first 59 games of a season since Wayne Gretzky had 53 goals in 1986-87.

Players in Oilers history with 2 career penalty shot goals:

Wayne Gretzky
Ryan Smyth
Connor McDavid

Tyson Barrie (10-3141 in 59 GP) recorded a multi-assist first period to surpass the 40-point mark on the season.
