Ekholm has shaved the beard, and the girls are going crazy!
With the post-season underway, many players are transitioning to international play or diving right back into training for the upcoming season.
However, Mattias Ekholm has taken a slightly unconventional approach to his post-season routine.
He recently visited Rogers Place, the home arena of the Oilers, to trim his beard significantly.
As a result, his playoff beard is no more, and he may need to fend off admirers with his new, cleaner-shaven look.
