The Edmonton Oilers concluded their multi-game road trip in Toronto last night, hoping to finish with a perfect 4-0 record but sadly, the red hot Leafs would shut the door.
The game did have a playoff-feel type of energy to it though, and many fans are discussing several players on social media, for the good and bad.
In this case, it's not the best if you support the Edmonton Oilers or are a Connor McDavid fan. Auston Matthews appeared to have cheapshotted McDavid, when he would purposely interfere with the leagues MVP, McDavid.
McDavid proceeded to give Matthews a whack of his own, but the referee sent both to the box in a questionable manner.
