Flashback - Devils Fan Pays The Price of Talking Smack and Gets Knocked Out Cold
The rivalry between the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils has been intense, to say the least.
However, the latest incident has taken things to a whole new level. A video has been circulating online, showing two fans engaged in a heated argument mid-play during the Devils' 4-0 win over the Rangers.
As tensions rose, the Devils fan smacks the Rangers fan's drink out of his hand, prompting the Rangers fan to put his assailant in a choke-hold until he loses consciousness.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it's disappointing to see fans stoop to this level of violence. While we don't have the full context of the situation, it's clear that both parties allowed their passion for the game to get the best of them. At the end of the day, we're all here to enjoy the sport we love, and there's no place for violence in that. Let's hope incidents like these become a thing of the past.
