The Calgary Flames are in a battle with the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division playoff race.
The Flames were in Denver Saturday night facing the Colorado Avalanche who were leading 3-0 in the 2nd period, causing Milan Lucic to try to spark the Flames.
Lucic would go with the Avalanche's tough guy Kurtis MacDermid in a heavyweight bout.
Lucic would tko MacDermid with a solid punch. The fight worked because the Flames would score right after cutting the deficit to 2 goals after 40 minutes of play.
