Former Oilers defenseman putting up his mansion for sale.
It always intrigues me to see what the rich do with their money once they've made it. Some pour all their money into expensive exotic cars, others buy finer things like shoe collections or hockey card collections. Many just buy really big houses.
Former Oilers defenseman Tyson Barrie certainly did that with his earnings from the NHL and now that he's no longer with the team has decided to put his mansion up for sale. Currently, he is selling his home for $4.7 million.
Nestled in the Mills Creek Ravine area of Edmonton the home itself shows off class and money spent. It has four floors including a rooftop patio, a hot tub and even an elevator to get you there.

The house itself is 4324 square feet and was built in 2018. It has six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
It's certainly a beautiful home, and now with Barrie playing for the Nashville Predators, it's the right time to sell. After playing three seasons with the Oilers, Barrie averaged between 40 and 50 points per season.
Barrie was part of a trade with Nashville which landed the Oilers Mattias Ekholm where the Predators received Barrie, read Schaefer, a first-round and a fourth-round draft pick this year.
