Huge News Regarding a Jakob Chychrun Trade to The Edmonton Oilers
After all these trade rumours involving Jakob Chychrun, the answer on what team he will be going to, will be answered soon as he was a healthy scratch during Saturday's game against St. Louis due to trade related reasons.
Now it might take a couple days to finalize the deal, but we will get an answer soon.
There are supposedly three teams in the sweepstakes for Chychrun being Boston, Toronto and Edmonton. Apparently the LA Kings have pulled out of trade talks with the defenseman.
Chychrun is a big defenseman coming in at 6-foot-2 220 pounds and is a solid puck moving and offensive defenseman. The Oilers could definitely benefit from adding a player like this into their rotation, and he would certainly help with their run in the playoffs this year.
Leafs and Oilers are among teams that have stepped up their efforts on Chychrun.
He currently has 7 goals, 21 assists, and 28 points in 38 games for the Coyotes this year and sits fourth on the team in points despite missing 15 games at the beginning of the year. Now that's not saying much considering Arizona is one of the worst teams in the league but Chychrun has proven he's a great offensive defenseman.
Two years ago the 24 year old put up 51 points in 56 games with the Coyotes.
