Zach Hyman was looking to get his 300th career point and he did just that.

Just 2 mins and 18 seconds into the first period Connor McDavid buried one past Anton Forsberg for his 42nd goal of the year, and was assisted by Draisaitl and Hyman. The assist by Hyman would be his 300th career point. Later in the second period Hyman would also go on to score a goal off of a penalty shot.

Take a look at the play that got him his 300th point below.

Hyman has been in the league now for 8 years and has played 472 games in that span. He sits at 140 career goals and 161 career assists for a total of 301 points in his career. If he keeps this pace up and doesn't get injured, expect him to be a point per game for the first time in his career.

Hyman has been a huge addition to the Oilers, even in his first season with the team he set a new career high in goals, assists and points, and is going to beat all those records again this year. If Hyman can stay healthy for the rest of the year he will be important part for them during the playoffs.

Take a look at his penalty shot goal down below.
