The NFL entry level draft is always full of surprises, but the Detroit Lions made a funny coincidence during this years event. They drafted linebacker Jack Campbell, who shares his name with none other than Edmonton Oilers' backup goaltender. While it's highly unlikely that the NHL player moonlights as a football superstar, the coincidence is enough to make anyone do a double-take.

Of course, it's not uncommon for people to share the same name, but when it happens in the sports world, it can lead to some amusing moments. Who knows, maybe Campbell the goalie has a secret passion for football and was eagerly watching the draft to see if his name would be called.

While we'll likely never see Jack Campbell, the hockey player, in a football uniform, we can still appreciate the hilarity of this coincidence. And who knows, maybe the two Jack Campbells will cross paths someday and have a good laugh about it themselves.
