Jordan Eberle Wins A Embarrassing Huge Bet With His Kraken Teammate
The Seattle Kraken have only been in the league for one NHL season, and it's definitely surprising how good they've been in their second year.
Part of the Kraken's success is 20 year old rookie Matty Beniers. The 2021 2nd overall pick has been tearing up the National Hockey League this season with 13 goals and 15 assists for a total of 28 points in just 37 games this season. He looks to be the clear cut favorite to win this year's Calder Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year.
Beniers, a proud American, decided to take a bet with a teammate and proud Canadian Jordan Eberle. With both player previously representing their country at the World Junior's they decided to make a bet on the semi finals match between Canada and USA.
What was the prize for winning the bet? Not money or dinner, it was the ultimate embarrassment for either guy, as they had to wear the jersey of the winning Country. That's right Matt Beniers had to wear a Canadian jersey for the entire practice to the delight of Jordan Eberle.
