Kevin Weekes Issues a Large Message to Oilers Forward
When most hockey fans think of the Edmonton Oilers most names that come to mind include Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Evander kane.
However those who follow the Oilers know this team has so much more. Granted this is Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl's team but one player that seems to get over looked is probably the Oilers most important and underrated and that's forward Zach Hyman.
This came up in the NHL Network's panel discussion when Kevin Weekes would educate the masses with his opinion and facts about Zach Hyman. View the transcript below:
People aren't paying attention to Zach Hyman up there in Edmonton and what he does. Every body thinks of course Connor McDavid the best player in the world and what he does, Leon Draisaitl another Heart trophy winner of course. Some how some people conveniently forget that this man is a point per game player. That's also in the absence of Evander Kane due to injury, Kane Hyman is one of those Swiss Army Knife players that can play in any and all situations, any and all match-ups at any point of the game, He is a luxury item for the team, I loved this signing by Kenny Holland a couple years ago. I think he's been great great fit for my man Jay Woodcroft. I'm just blown away when they talk about the Edmonton Oilers well they don't have this they don't have that, people forget to see they have a Zach Hyman. - Kevin Weekes
