Let the playoffs begin... Oilers release motivational video to fanbase.
The season is done, The Oilers have made it to the NHL playoffs and will now be facing their first opponent who happens to be the Los Angeles Kings.
This season certainly had its ups and downs with issues throughout the lineup, but since the trade deadline, the Oilers have come together and put on a nice run to get them into the playoffs and ready to battle.
The Oilers organization released a video on their main page but their players talked about how they intend to go all the way to win the next Stanley Cup.
It's exciting times at Edmonton, the others seemed to have come together and rallied around the trades that were made and the goaltending that has solidified over the past few months.
It remains to be seen how they will handle the Kings, though I do believe that they have enough firepower and defence to move past the Kings into the second round.
The teams are waiting to find out which day their playoffs will start and with the Oilers ahead of the Kings they will have a home-ice advantage.
