Projected round-one lineup is shown for the Oilers.
Now that the playoffs are here, head coach Jay Woodcroft and his staff are currently working on Ways that they can beat the LA Kings going into round one. With the chess game about to begin you'll be looking at options to move pieces around that will help him in the matchup game against them.
Tonight, the Twitter account Oiler Alert posted the projected lineups for game one for round one.
The Oilers joined the ranks of many NHL teams in trying this format of 11/ 7 going down the stretch. This meant he would dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. It appears now he will be going back to the traditional 12/6 which makes more sense.
Now saying all that, this is a mere projection of what it could look like and many things can change between now and next week. He is going with a more veteran lineup Which should give the LA Kings fits.
Game One will begin on Monday, April 17th in Edmonton and the start time will be 10:00 PM Eastern.
