Major controversy emerges regarding McDavid and Crosby
A controversy has arisen over comparing the prime performances of two of the NHL's greatest players, Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby.
While McDavid recorded an impressive 153 points in the 2022/23 season, some argue that Crosby's prime was equally remarkable.
Despite being hampered by injuries, Crosby was projected to score around 140 points in a season.
The debate post is as read below:
Never compare Prime McDavid to Prime Crosby again.
If Crosby wasn't injured he was scoring 140 points in a season. Now I know McDavid had 153 points but
McDavid 5 v 5 points in 2022/23: 59
Crosby 5 v 5 points in 2010/13: 89😳
Crosby is just the better player.
Moreover, when comparing their 5v5 points, Crosby's tally of 89 points during 2010/13 surpasses McDavid's 59 points.
The debate continues, with some asserting that Crosby remains the superior player overall.
