Milan Lucic Thrilled With IIHF Championship Win
Despite the off-season drama involving the Calgary Flames and Darryl Sutter, Milan Lucic, a former Stanley Cup champion and current 4th liner (sometimes 1st liner) in the Flames system, achieved something remarkable.
Team Canada's lineup didn't inspire confidence in many, but Lucic and his team defied expectations and won the World Hockey Championship Gold.
Nobody deserves that Gold Medal more than Big Looch 🇨🇦🥇🍻
Lucic was so thrilled with the result that he captured the locker room celebration on video. This victory must have been especially sweet for him after being dismissed professionally for so long.
Congratulations on the win, Looch!
