More Tragedy Strikes The Stelter Family and They Need Everyone's Help
A fundraiser has been launched for Mike Stelter, the father of Ben Stelter, a young Edmonton Oilers super-fan who captured the hearts of hockey enthusiasts last year.
Mike recently announced on social media that he has been diagnosed with cancer after experiencing back pains and undergoing an MRI. The scan revealed a tumor on his spine.
Seeking treatment unavailable in Canada, Mike plans to travel to the United States. The fundraiser aims to raise $40,000 to support the expenses associated with his seven weeks of Proton Therapy treatment in Pennsylvania.
