Sad news from the knights organization
The 2023 Stanley Cup Championship was won by the Vegas Golden Knights and Bruce Cassidy, who defeated the Florida Panthers in just 5 games.

During his day with the cup, Bruce Cassidy surprised everyone by bringing it back to Milton to launch a nonprofit for the Cassidy Murray Foundation.
The foundation is named after Cassidy Murray, who sadly passed away after being hit by a boat while being pulled by her father in Aruba.
Shannon Cassidy, Bruce's daughter, was friends with Cassidy Murray and they attended the same school.
Since the tragedy, the Cassidy and Murray families have grown close, sharing meals and attending events together.
The nonprofit aims to help people affected by tragedies and improve educational opportunities. Bruce Cassidy has found a way to turn a devastating event into something positive and helpful.
