The foundation is named after Cassidy Murray, who sadly passed away after being hit by a boat while being pulled by her father in Aruba.
Shannon Cassidy, Bruce's daughter, was friends with Cassidy Murray and they attended the same school.
Since the tragedy, the Cassidy and Murray families have grown close, sharing meals and attending events together.
