Gary Bettman, a staunch supporter of hockey in the desert, may have inadvertently opened up an opportunity for Canada to acquire a new team. Surprisingly, this may not necessarily be a negative outcome.
A tweet by Patrick Mahomes, renowned for his football skills, caught attention as he expressed his thoughts on the future of the Coyotes franchise. Mahomes, it turns out, is also a hockey fan and has suggested that the Arizona Coyotes consider relocating to Kansas City. The tweet reads:
Interestingly, this idea is not entirely far-fetched, as Kansas City has had its own hockey team in the past. The Kansas City Scouts, later renamed the Denver Rockies and ultimately becoming the New Jersey Devils, once called the city home. Although it has been several decades since hockey graced Kansas City, the prospect of the Coyotes moving there presents an intriguing and entertaining possibility.
Furthermore, the notion of supporting the St. Louis Blues might not appeal to everyone.
