Carolina Hurricanes forward Max Pacioretty appears to have a serious injury during their game vs the Minnesota Wild.
With the Hurricanes up with a commanding 5-2 lead in the 3rd period Pacioretty would fall to the ice with a non contact injury.
Pacioretty tore his Achilles tendon this off-season after being traded from the Vegas Golden Knights to the Carolina Hurricanes for future considerations and has only played 4 games this season. This is his this injury within the last 1.5 years, and at his age he may be seeking health over hockey and taking the retirement route.
