Evander Kane, current Oiler and co-founder of the HDA (Hockey Diversity Alliance) announced that he's leaving the HDA. For all who are unfamiliar with the HDA, the HDA is a group that brings all races together for the game of hockey.
Kane says the reason he left is because of all the hate thrown at him for being apart of the alliance. However, the replies to his tweet are mostly good, telling him they still support the HDA and they understand his decision.
However, with Evander Kane, the co-founder himself, stepping away, will this lead to players like Matt Dumba and Ryan Reaves, and more, to step away from the HDA too?
