It's safe to say that the Oilers have had one of their best seasons in terms of statistics in recent memory. With each passing game, it seems that several oiler players are setting records that will stand the test of time.

Oilers superstar centerman Connor McDavid isn't a stranger to setting records as it seems it's a normal thing for him to do during his career.

According to Sportsnet Stats, McDavid is the 9th player in NHL history to have multiple hundred assist seasons which includes the playoffs and regular season.

And the records don't stop there. Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard has been making noise recently with having the most points as a defenseman through the 1st 10 games of the postseason. He joins Paul Coffey and Charlie Huddy who were part of this group.

With the series deadlocked at two games apiece and both teams continuing to heat their hate for one another it's going to be a wild finish for this series and I feel more records will be set in the coming days.

The Oilers will be back on the road to play Game 5 in Vegas on Friday, May 12th. The start time for this will be 10:00 PM Eastern.
