Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Takes to Social Media to Announce Something Huge
With the rigour of the NHL season continuing to move along and players trying to keep their family lives together and their NHL careers, it's nice to see announcements that make fans another player's smile.
Oilers start forward Ryan Nugent Hopkins announced today with his wife Breanne that they will be expecting their first child in August 2023.
Nuge has been having an exceptional season across the board which includes playing 68 games, have scored 31 goals with 51 assists for 82 points. He is a + 5 and holds 44 power-play points.
The 29-year-old centre was drafted in the first round first overall in 2011 his having by far his career year.
This will bode well for the Oilers as they continue to battle their way into the playoffs and hope for a long playoff run and a shot at the Stanley Cup.
With Nuge playing the way he has been there's a good chance their playoff run will be for the long haul.
We want to wish Nuge and Bre all the best and enjoy their coming bundle of joy.
