We all know Evander Kane to be a gritty, offensive winger, but he hasn't shown that lately.

During the off-season, he was seen practicing to brush off the rust. Now is the time to panic.

Kane on PP1 in bumper spot today.

His contribution has dwindled since he first arrived in Edmonton, and he has been demoted.

Then Kane would call out coach Jay Woodcroft and be put on PP1, after not being satisfied with the demotion would fight just to make his point.

Drama in Oil Town, Evander Kane was not happy with his ice time last night

It's unclear what his point is, but he currently has one assist in five games and is a -6. There is a difference between him and last year's forward.

What exactly is Woodcroft trying to accomplish by acquiescing to his players' demands?

Although Kane is paid to play in the top-six, his role has diminished along with his production, and he needs to find his A-game quickly or things may get worse.

By the trade deadline, will Ken Holland be able to move his contract? Right now, $5 Million could make a huge difference for the team if the winger's cap hit was moved.

Holloway has the disadvantage of simply being young apparently

That makes Woodcroft look weak after Kane's comments on Saturday, he should play on 4th line for a couple games.
