The Edmonton Oilers have the ''good news bad news'' situation. The Oilers are set to welcome back forward Evander Kane. However, in a salary cup era there's always tough decisions that have to be made.
There is some tough news, as the Oilers General Manager Ken Holland has zero cap space with 21 active forwards. Holland is going to have to send down, Ryan, Janmark, Puljujärvi or Foegele..
Or one of these 3, which seems to be the more better option.
Send Shore down ($850k)
Send Desharnais ($763k)
Put Murray ($750) on LTIR
It's definitely a tough decision for Holland, but with the Oilers still in the playoff picture they need to get Evander Kane back in the lineup as soon as possible.
