In their most recent game against John Tortorella's Philadelphia Flyers, the Edmonton Oilers lost 4-1.

Woodcroft did his best to spark offense again in what was to be a new shuffling in the lineup.

The team seems to be lacking the kind of offensive prowess they had near the end of last season.

The reasons could be multiple, just like the reasons to shift Leon Draisaitl to Connor McDavid's wing.

So, Woodcroft has hit the line blender button against, as Evander Kane has joined Connor Brown on the 3rd line.

Are Woodcroft's impatiences so great that he's willing to sacrifice long-term chemistry? Is he just experimenting to see what happens?

As far as the first line goes, Zach Hyman has taken over Evander Kane's assignment.

Will Woodcroft fare any better next game?
