The second-round schedule for the Oilers was released.
As the cheering and rejoicing for the round one win against the LA Kings continues, the NHL has released the schedule for the second round between the Oilers and the Golden Knights. The Golden Knights will be holding the home-ice advantage of this time and this matchup should prove interesting against the Oilers.
This is going to be a star-filled lineup between both teams as Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl line up against players like Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and Phil Kessel to name a few. I do expect this to be a physical series as both teams do have some physicality in their game and good size.
Goaltending will become a question mark for both teams as the Knights have been using Laurent Brossoit and the Oilers have been juggling between Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell.
For the record, the Oilers have an 11-6-2 record against the Golden Knights all time. But as we know as fans that doesn't apply during playoff hockey.
The series will begin on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 8:00 PM
