Troubling News About Johnny Gaudreau's Departure from Calgary
Johnny Gaudreau left the Calgary Flames during the off-season, and along with Johnny leaving, Matthew Tkachuk forced his way out of Calgary.
Brad Treliving will never live down this post-season for multiple reasons, Frank Seravalli goes into detail on the Gaudreau transaction.
According to Frank Seravalli, Brad Treliving and the Calgary Flames thought they had Johnny ready to sign on the dotted line with a new contract until there was a course correction for the Gaudreau family.
Of course, if everything Frank says is true, Gaudreau made a decision to move to Columbus, not for money but for family.
Since the Gaudreau move, the Flames under Sutter have been structurally unsound, defensively weak, and a shadow of the team that the Oilers faced in the Battle of Alberta in the 2nd round.
