Which Oilers player would Zach Hyman write about?
Oilers star forward Zach Hyman has brought his A-game this year with the Edmonton Oilers. After signing his $5.7 million per season over a 7-year contract extension, his offensive numbers have rebounded nicely and are now a fixture on the Oilers.
In the 2022-2023 season, he played 78 games and scored 36 goals with 47 assists for 83 points. He holds a + 13 and 15 power-play goals with 26 power-play points.
There's also another talent that Hyman has expressed to the world, and that's writing successful children's books.
He has written four books as an author, the latest one known as The Magicians Secret. It was published on April 3rd, 2018. During an interview recently, he was asked which Oilers teammate would he be ready to write about in another book.
I would have to agree that Leon Draisaitl is one of the more interesting and different forwards on the Oilers. I would want to hear his story on how he became one of the best NHLrs currently.
Both players are gearing themselves for a long playoff run as the season is about to come to a close and the Oilers have locked up their playoff spot.
