Will Ferrell plays punishing hockey in hilarious Elf deleted scene
Hockey fans everywhere appreciate some quality physical hockey, but it doesn't fit quite well with the kindness of the Christmas season. However, being the master of comedy he is, Will Ferrel was able to bring some punishing physical body checks with some Christmas spirit in a deleted Elf' scene.
From the beloved Christmas movie, Ferrel plays a human who lives among Elves, which clearly gave him a massive size advantage on the ice. In the clip below, Buddy the Elf skates around the ice absolutely destroying the opposing team, and winning the game for his own.
Obviously it's not NHL related, but it's hilarious clip to see from one of the most popular holiday movies of all time. It's fantastic for the sport of hockey, smaller relative to all other major sports, be represented in such massive media - even if it's elves playing on a pond in the North Pole.
