The 26 year-old has had attention from the hockey world since he joined the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters. Although McDavid likes to keep to himself and not be the center of attention, his popularity has grown.

In fact McDavid has become on of the most searches by fans in Google. McDavid's popularity has spiked since the 2019 playoffs during the qualifying round vs the Chicago Blackhawks. And spiked even higher during last year's playoff run.

There's even been searches about McDavid if Connor McDavid has a brother, and McDavid's favorite restaurant. However the best search is McDavid's goals as he's scored some of the nicest goals in NHL history.
