Zach Hyman helped the Oilers increase their lead over the Kings but in an unusual way
When a player is battling in front of the net there is always the chance of being hit. Zach Hyman knows that feeling as he took a shot and was credited with a goal because of it.
Zach Hyman took a heavy slap shot from teammate Evan Bouchard, right to the chops and tipped it into the net. Hyman did not leave the game after being hit in the face, in fact he didn't even have a scratch on his face.
In the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year, Hyman has 4 points in 5 games. 1 goal of the chin, 1 thriller OT winner and 2 assists.
