Trevor Zegras has been a main talking point of the trade deadline this year. Well, a Canadian team may get their hands on him.
The Montreal Canadiens are another possible team who can pick up Trevor, as they have the picks and prospects to make the trade, per Craig Button.
Trevor, 22 years old, was the 9th overall pick in the 2019 draft. When Anaheim drafted him, they probably never thought they'd be in a position to possibly trade him, but here they are.
Zegras has four goals and three assists, tallying up to seven points this season in an injury riddled 2023-24 campaign. However, he has shown that he can play in the past, as he has 65 points in 81 games.
His stick handling abilities are out of this world, as well, and he makes the Michigan look so easy.
Montreal would have to pay a high price to get him, but they have the price.
Zegras is an exciting young player and would bring a lot of personality to any team he joins.
